Originally from Monroe, Michigan Chef/owner Adam Morrison was lured into the culinary world when his passion for the industry and the food was recognized at an early age. After several years apprenticing with and under many great chefs at exclusive hotels, country clubs and restaurants in and around the metro Detroit/Ann Arbor Michigan. area, Adam moved on to have successful stints in Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, and San Antonio TX. After moving to Portland Oregon Morrison was introduced to the highly specialized world of production catering for the film industry. After 20 years of cooking Adam has gained experience and insight into the culturally diverse cuisines of the world. Once dubbed a “gypsy chef” Adam has found a home in the beautiful blue ridge mountains of Virginia.

Adams culinary philosophy and passions reflect the growing awareness towards a healthier and down to earth lifestyle. Working with neighboring farms to seek out the finest in regional and local produce is the essence of his cuisine. He prefers to allow the natural flavors of the food and presentations to express themselves.

"We always bring in the 'big dogs' when we have clients that we really want to impress. They make everyone happy, the carnivores, the veggies, the vegans, and that is impossible to do. Two Trees is the best".
